I have dealt with this post office for years, across multiple addresses, and the problems never stop. This location is consistently unreliable, dismissive, and careless with something as basic as mail delivery.
They’ve tried to keep packages, marked items as “could not be delivered” when my regular carrier had no idea another vehicle was supposedly sent out, and recently lost two of my letters in two weeks both on Fridays. I strongly suspect they delivered them to the wrong house, and if they left them with the neighbors whose dog attacked me, I’ll never see them again.
One incident at the BH location perfectly sums up how poorly this place is run. I went in at 9 AM on a weekday to pick up a package for my mom and pay the fee. Simple enough. Instead, I got an employee who interrupted me three separate times before I could finish a sentence. I said, “Hi, I’m here to pick up my mom’s package but—” and she cut me off with, “You have to go to that door to pick up packages.” I tried again, and she repeated the same line like a broken record.
So I stood by the door she insisted on the one that was closed, unmanned, and clearly not operating despite the sign saying they opened at 8 AM. After ten minutes of nothing, I got back in line. Thankfully, I got a different employee, a kind gentleman who actually listened. I told him the same thing, and he said, “Oh sure, I can handle that for you, no problem.” So why couldn’t the first woman do her job?
The manager came out to look for the package, and wouldn’t you know it suddenly the same employee who dismissed me three times decided she “knew where it was.” She grabbed it, I paid the $3.19, and left feeling furious. The gentleman with glasses and a husky build is a prince among men. The ponytail employee… I sincerely hope every inconvenience she caused me is returned to her tenfold.
This post office has caused me stress for years. Lost mail, misdelivered items, rude staff, zero communication, and zero accountability. I’m tired of dealing with this place.
