Looking online I felt the Flat Rate Priority Mail was sufficient and a fair price at $10.35. However after arriving to my local USPS, packaging up my items and prepping the box with the shipping address, I was shocked to be charged more than double ($24.80). At this point I’m stuck because I’ve already utilized their packing materials and begrudgingly pay. My recommendation… To customers: be sure to check on the local rates before blindly assuming what you saw online was accurate. To USPS: update your online rate information regularly otherwise it appears to be a bait and switch scheme.
