  I was immediately greeted with a smile and was taken care of right away. My interaction with the staff especially the man whom helped me was professional and very courteous. Thank you

  I arrived at the UPS store on Saturday 4/4 around 12:30 pm to return amazon packages, which I have done several times in the past few years. When I walked in, a heavy set bald man walked across the store to where another young man was helping me. He started tearing my packages open in front of me and saying I can't return items in boxes and handing me the torn up boxes saying i have to take the stuff with me because they do not have room to recycle. Now, I have been returning stuff from amazon for years to this store and this was a first for me. I tried telling this person this and he continued to tell me I was wrong and they've never accepted returns in boxes from amazon with a no box/no label. I was always under the impression I was helping by already boxing the items and thought "box not necessary" meant it could be put in a box, but it's not necessary. I believe this person was possibly the owner or a manager, I'm not sure. He was extremely rude. I understand policy, and trying to save money by consolidating packages, and I completely understand. I was wrong for assuming I should put my packages in boxes. I did not feel I was treated with kindness. This was the first time I have received poor service from this store. Everyone has always been very nice and helpful in the last few years I've been going here. After this experience I will not return. There is a way you treat customers and opening my packages the way he did was inappropriate. If you're irritated or frustrated, you dont take it out on customers. Next time, explain the situation, ask the customer if you can open the packages instead of tearing the boxes open and being rude. The items I had could have been personal, in which I would have appreciated the opportunity to change my return option. Seriously, do you think I would keep coming in returning items the way I have if y'all had said something to me in the past? No.
