Needed to ship large package and told I needed to buy a sturdy box somewhere else. This is the worst post office I have ever been to.

I visited this location to drop off six packages and was met with poor service from an employee named Wil. The self-scan machine at the front was broken — the manager was actively working on it — so I stepped up to the counter for assistance. There was no one in line behind me and no wait. I asked Wil to scan my packages. He scanned only two of the six and refused to scan the rest, pointing me back to the self-service kiosk. I explained that the kiosk does not give me what I need as a business owner — a confirmed receipt showing USPS has taken possession of each item. The kiosk only logs that I used the drop slot. For my records and my customers’ protection, I need a scanned confirmation that USPS physically has my parcels. Every other post office I visit scans all my packages without issue. Just the day before, a different location scanned over 20 packages for me while five people were in line behind me — no complaints, no attitude. Rather than helping me, Wil handed off my packages to a coworker to finish scanning and made it clear he simply didn’t want to do it. When I expressed my concern, he told me he doesn’t care whether he scans packages or not — because he gets paid either way. That attitude is unacceptable from anyone in a public-facing government role. This is a paid government service. The people using it are taxpayers. Refusing a basic scan request with zero wait time and zero justification is a failure of service, plain and simple.

What a disgusting excuse for a Post Office. Even before I got frustrated, he refused to accept my prelabeled package. Even labeled as fragile with arrows to the top, he didn't care. Threw it back at me upside down. They don't have it on video according to the postmaster, but I do. I got frustrated following and was told they will not accept any of my packages and that I would be announced as trespassing. Even if I dropped something in the mailbox, they would reject it and RTS.
