I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing USPS "Priority" Mail for an important immigration document. If by "priority" they mean a two to three week delay and a mandatory treasure hunt, then they nailed it. After my missing package ticket vanished into the digital void with zero updates, I decided to visit the local branch in person. There, I was greeted by an employee behind Dutch door who clearly treats customer service as a personal insult. She didn't just refuse to help; she delivered a masterclass in creative apathy. Without so much as looking at my tracking number, she confidently informed me that my mail might arrive in a month, two months, or maybe a year. I appreciate the precision. It’s truly inspiring to see someone hate their job with that level of dedication. If anyone ever wonders why people say the government shouldn't run a delivery service, just send them to this counter. A total masterpiece in operational collapse.

My international delivery was marked at 9:26 AM as “return to sender – recipient unknown.” I did not receive any notifications prior to this update. I personally arrived at the USPS location around 2 PM on July 20th. The employee working that day did not check the status of my delivery, refused to look into what happened, and did not provide any explanation for why the package was sent back. By the way, the address was printed correctly and included complete contact information. When I arrived home later, there was a notice on my door stating that a delivery attempt had been made and I was “missed.” This raises a serious question: How is it possible that my online account shows the package was returned to sender at 9:26 AM, while the actual delivery attempt occurred around 2 PM? The following day, when I returned to the same USPS location, the same employee again refused to check my updated delivery notice. I was asked multiple times whether I “really” had a redelivery request, and the employee was unable or unwilling to verify it online. Issues with international deliveries have happened before, and it is unacceptable. It should not be easier for USPS to send back an international package- one that customers wait for more than a month- than to verify the correct address or contact the recipient. All address and contact information were filled out correctly. Before returning a package to another country, USPS should make every reasonable effort to reach the customer and complete the delivery.

I signed the USPS notice authorizing delivery of my certified mail, but it has now been over two weeks and the mail still has not been delivered. I’m very disappointed with the service.

I've always had a great experience here with friendly staff. Depending on the time the line can get a little long with rush hour but very straightforward and easy, especially if you have your package pre labeled (or use the online Click-N-Ship service). Thank you always USPS!
