  Context: We closed on a house that was owned pre-covid about a year ago with this republic title (chosen by the seller). The seller had been paying less than their fair share of property taxes due to the homestead "cap" and the crazy spike of home prices during covid and figured the amount they would pay for prorated taxes for the year into the closing costs based on their lower "capped" taxes. Then they screwed us by canceling their homestead exemption on us randomly which hit our property taxes hard, and then when we eventually got refunded we find we are getting refunded way less than expected for the total difference essentially meaning we had to pay a good portion of their property taxes for the year. Anyways, it's Republic Titles response to this that makes me leave this review cus everyone is making this place seem perfect. Our title agent is no longer there but she was great, she told me to contact them when we had the new property tax amount and the difference could be litigated. Well we just got to that step and contacted them and got stonewalled, not willing to help us at all. Our agent no longer works there. So, just for any future customers this place isn't perfect. Once they got your business you are just another number. Will probably not trust any future republic title for our future title business when we choose to sell.

  There is no title company we’ve worked with that has proved to be so efficient and dependable. We’ve worked with them for at least 22 years, and they always surpass the last time we’ve been there, always closing ahead of schedule. Your needs are met with plenty of cheerfulness, correct documents, everything done in a timely fashion. Each officer is courteous and helpful, and you are treated as if you are their only customer.

  We always love working with this Republic Title Office. We never have to worry when our transaction is with Republic Title Preston Parker. The whole team is great. Highly recommend them.
