- NRNorma Rocha2 days ago1.0I have been using USPS for my business for over five years and have dropped off packages at many different Post Office locations. I have never been treated the way I was treated at this location. I came in to drop off my customers’ packages, which already had paid USPS shipping labels. I was told that they needed to open my customers’ packages to verify that they did not contain anything harmful. I have never been asked to do this during five years of regularly shipping orders through USPS. The male employee I dealt with was extremely rude and unprofessional in the way he spoke to and treated me. The female employee was also rude and unhelpful. I was simply trying to drop off prepaid packages. I did not need a receipt or any additional service. As a business owner who has relied on USPS for years, I expect to be treated professionally and respectfully. I regularly use the La Joya Post Office and have always received excellent customer service there, which made the difference in my experience at this location even more noticeable. I am filing a formal complaint because I believe the way this situation was handled and the way I was treated should be reviewed by USPS management. I do not plan to use this location again.
