They said that they attempted delivery but did not leave a notice in the mailbox which tells me they didn't even bother. I went up to the post office to pick up the package in question to which they said they didn't have it in the back. It's like the DMV but for packages. I don't think there's a single government building not filled to the brim with people who don't care.

I recently moved from Houston to Odessa and my boyfriend and I own our own trailer and pay a landlord to park on their land. Their are other people with trailers here but the landlord does not have physical mailboxes for renters, thus I figured that paying for a po Box would ensure I would have the ability to receive mail and packages to be held at the post office like I did in Houston. But no I get certain pieces of mail and I to signed up to receive notifications from the postal office as to what mail I will expect to receive. Houston no issues I received notifications daily with the photo of the piece of mail expected that day and any packages incoming. I would be called if the package was to large to pick up that day from the office itself. In Odessa I get told we don't hold packages like that only some Amazon packages are left in locker and key is in your po Box. I get small packages from Walmart delivered there to be picked up shortly after they were delivered because I DO NOT HAVE A REGISTERED PHYSICAL ADDRESS! I JUST MOVED 500 MILES AWAY AND HAVE NOTHING and figured ordering small items that were essential that I cannot get in store was what I was paying for. It's not like I'm having a couch delivered to them or anything all I got could have been placed in my po Box but that would require them to actually do work instead I get a yellow paper that say see supervisor and that's what they told me about they won't receive and hold mail. But isn't that exactly what you're job description intels working for the public as a public servant serving the community????? Now wonder they are hiring any person with common sense wises up and leaves and the women there are so unprofessional they make USPS looks bad as a whole.... will be taking my complaint up the ladder until I see changes and I have nothing but time and a drive they don't have to get the job done! It's a government funded entity and someone will make these changes because i know I'm not the only one in Odessa facing this problem of not being able to get mail by no fault of our own we just do not have a physical address and some people can't have mail and packages sent to someone else who does because like me I moved here and know absolutely no one.
