- JPJocelyn PadronJul 26, 20264.0Staff was very helpful and friendly but the ac wasnt working (which isnt the first time) and it was a very hot day. the workers were visibly uncomfortable but still were very professional.
- AAAlexJul 25, 20261.0I had a very frustrating experience getting my passport here. The employee helping me the bal ed man kept asking for extra documents that were not actually required. He also kept being passive aggressive, but it came across as unprofessional and made the experience more frustrating. He insisted that I retake my passport photo and tried to sell me a new one for $15, even though the photo I brought met the requirements and was accepted elsewhere. Overall, I would not recommend getting your passport here because of the poor customer service. I highly recommend going to the passport office in McAllen instead. They provided much better customer service, were professional, and made the process much smoother.

As closing time approached, the front clerk was loudly shouting “5 minutes!” to her coworkers, then counting down “3 minutes” and “2 minutes” until closing. It came across as very unprofessional and made customers feel rushed. I completely understand that everyone is ready to finish their shift and go home, but maintaining professionalism until closing time is important. A more customer-focused approach would have made for a much better experience.
