This office is the worst. It has lost one of my packages in the past. Sent another that was to go to Denton, TX to another state. Now, a package has arrived at the distribution center and can't be found. Still waiting for a response from them. Someone should seriously look into the center. Either it is carelessness or theft which ever it is both are unacceptable.

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at this location, specifically from clerk Joel and supervisor Esmeralda. My package was supposed to be delivered today but couldn’t be delivered because of an incomplete address. I submitted an inquiry online and received a call from a gentleman who explained the issue. I completely understood. I asked if my husband could pick it up since I was working, and he told me yes, as long as his ID matched the address. He also said we could provide the corrected address and have it sent back out for delivery the next day. He told me the location closed at 7 PM. Based on those instructions, my husband and I went after I got off work. He entered around 5:30 PM and waited nearly 30 minutes in line. When he reached the counter, he explained the situation to Joel and asked for the package. Joel told him, “No.” My husband explained that we had specifically been told the package was there and that he could pick it up. Joel responded, “We have a lot of facilities.” My husband explained that he understood, but we had been told to come to this location. Joel then told him he was not going to look for the package and gave him a website for a package intercept instead. What makes this worse is that the information Joel provided was incorrect. When I later spoke with USPS customer service, the representative told me that the package intercept service he directed us to did not apply to my type of package and my package didn’t even qualify for it. After my husband told me what happened, I went inside and asked for a supervisor. When Joel contacted supervisor Esmeralda, she rudely stated, “I only have one minute and I have to go.” I explained the situation to her, including what I had been told over the phone. Her response was, “Well, I’m not going to go get your package.” When I again explained that a USPS representative specifically told me we could pick it up, she responded, “Well, I’m not going to go look for your package. Tell the gentleman you spoke to to go look for your package.” I understand they were busy and it was getting closer to closing time. There had been a large line, and I would have completely understood if someone had simply said, “I’m sorry, we can’t retrieve it right now, but please come back tomorrow and we’ll assist you.” That would have been perfectly reasonable. Instead, we were treated disrespectfully, refused assistance, and given incorrect information. When I asked Esmeralda what would happen to my package, she told me it would be sent back to the sender because she wasn’t going to look for it. I contacted USPS customer service afterward and filed a report regarding my package as well as complaints against Joel and supervisor Esmeralda. The incomplete address was never what upset me, I understood that from the beginning. The problem was being instructed by USPS to come pick up the package, making the trip and waiting in line, only to be refused assistance, given incorrect information, and spoken to disrespectfully. Even if they could not retrieve the package that evening, a simple explanation and basic courtesy would have been enough. There was absolutely no reason for either employee, especially a supervisor, to speak to customers this way. Very unprofessional and extremely disappointing customer service.

Deceitful and incompetent employees. USPS picked up my Amazon package and claimed to not have a valid address. Originally its was sent to the Pharr post office and the incomplete delivery notice was received. I called the 1800 postal customer service number and I was informed they are to attempt for three consecutive days.I asked a relative to go inquire regarding the package on day one, with the local office (Pharr). My relative was informed they no longer had possession and it was sent to the Mcallen post office. My realtive then drove to Mcallen to inquire as you cannot get through the phone line. There was paperwork filled out to then be told the package could not be recovered as it was already returned per her (post office employee) supervisor. Day two comes around. My Amazon account sent me a notification saying the package was now held at the Mcallen location and the address was incorrect. The same location that had paperwork filled out with a good mailing address and would be linked to the "tracking number" on day one. It is impossible to get through a phone line which makes it even harder to get any type of arrangement or obtain any information. I'm sure there are other people willing to work for a busy location, take pride in their work, and actually help customers. As current employees should and don't.

Linda was very rude that I had to leave - unable to ship out my Depop return which was the reason I went in the first place and waited in line for 30 minutes on top of not being helped at all because there was about 15-20 people in front of me before I even got to the register where Linda was the person that was supposed to attend me. Basically, I brought in a Depop order that I wanted to return in its original packaging that was open on the side, because I decided to return it because I had the wrong deep up order sent to me- so I had packaging i just needed tape and a label. She said I needed to pack the package myself with my own tape, and label. she did not offer to help me print out my label or with purchasing tape to close up the package, or even borrowing any tape maybe if they had any. Mind you I had a QR code where Depop should be able to cover the expenses- still I had to go home and print it out and package everything myself. I wasn’t expecting her to package it for me, but I would have liked some sort of help with generating a label because I did have a QR code. So unhelpful I’d rather not have to deal with a person that is like talking to a brick wall I would hope that the other employees here are helpful because this person did not even lift a finger to help me and wasted two days of my time as I had to come in on 2 different occasions and the same woman helped me AGAIN.

I had someone living in Texas order from me online in which I shipped at the end of July and arrived at the Mcallen Regional Distribution Center August 1st and remained there for over two weeks without any further progress! I spent hours upon hours personally trying to call their number to give them my tracking number and get some kind of explanation for why this item has taken well over 3 weeks to be freaking delivered. I could not get one person to answer the phone all day I called USPS 1-800 number and filed a formal complaint against this location for not only not delivering this package in any form of a timely manner but not answering the phone at all, ratings from others, and all around being a completely useless branch that should be shutdown for good! This crap is going to cause me to get a bad review thanks to their failures so THANKS!
