Extremely Disappointed With the Service You would think that living in a small town would mean receiving a little more personal service, courtesy, and accountability. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience with this post office. My father recently moved to this small town and literally lives only about two blocks from the post office. His street does not have individual mailboxes, so he was told he had to obtained a P.O. Box, which in itself is not a problem. The problem is that important mail— including bills and correspondence from the electric company, family members, and creditors—has repeatedly been returned to the sender. What is especially frustrating is that when these companies contact us, they simply say, “The mail was returned,” but there is no explanation as to why it was returned. That is unacceptable when we are talking about important correspondence and bills. I have also tried calling the post office, and getting someone to answer the phone has been another issue entirely. I understand that everyone has personal things going on in their lives, but when you are at work—especially working with the public—you should provide professionalism, courtesy, and a genuine effort to assist the people who walk through your doors or call for help. I previously requested that the Postmaster or manager contact me regarding these concerns. It has now been three weeks, and I have received neither a phone call nor an email. At this point, I am traveling from Houston to Lytle this weekend because I want answers. I have already seen multiple complaints regarding the service at this location, and I intend to address these concerns directly. We all have jobs to do. When you choose a position that involves serving the public, accountability, professionalism, and basic courtesy should come with it. I sincerely hope someone at the management level takes these complaints seriously and provides an explanation for what is happening with the mail at this location. My father deserves to receive his mail, and we deserve an answer as to why it continues to be returned without explanation.

If I can give 0 I would, worst customer service. The lady working I guess don't like her job but worst lady ever, she should not be working there. Very rude.
