He greeted me with a smile, did everything in a timely manner, and then asked me if I needed help with anything else. I had a random Amazon question (obviously they don’t work for Amazon so I knew that they might not know the answer, but since they deal with Amazon returns constantly I figured it was worth the ask). Eric was not sure, so he went to seek further help from the manager. When the manager walked up he was very frustrated/annoyed. He began degrading the employee in front of me and another coworker. He said, “Eric, I have told you 3 times I’m trying to eat my lunch.” It made me feel really awkward and bad for Eric after he was very helpful. At that point I told the manager to go ahead & enjoy his lunch. I was not sticking around for that. It isn’t hard to be kind. Good grief.
