My husband and i usually go to UPS on Fry Rd but it was under construction so we searched for another location which lead us to the Mason Rd location. We stood and waited in a long line that was almost out the door, when it was our turn we were rudely told by the clerk that they do not do notaries after 6 After the clerk rudely told us this in front of a long line of people he then gave us an option that we could wait for him to get rid of the long line behind us that we just stood in, and then he would notarize our paper . So we were being told that we had to go to the back of the line Nowhere is that posted that you do not notarize after 6 PM. My husband and I are seniors and my husband has a Knee problem. . I am still very upset by the treatment that we received I have never been treated so poorly
I feel like this was some form of discrimination If I could, I would elevate this review and complaint

4 dollars to send a fax of driver license. Charged for two pages when front and back of identification can fit on one piece of paper

I had an outstanding experience at the UPS Store on Mason Road! Chetan Patel went above and beyond to help me safely ship several special family paintings back home to North Carolina. He and his associate spent a tremendous amount of time carefully wrapping, packing, and securing my paintings and other packages, making sure everything was perfectly protected for the journey.
Their patience, professionalism, and attention to detail gave me complete peace of mind. I truly appreciated the exceptional customer service and highly recommend this UPS Store for any packing and shipping needs!!

Had AirPods in and seemed annoyed. Then told me to take my box from the AT&T drop off. I asked if they had a trash can they said no. So there isn’t a trash can in the entire store.

If you are a Black customer, beware before spending your money at this location. The atmosphere was hostile, disorganized, unprofessional, and honestly felt like an episode of Get Out. I have worked as a Human Resources manager for many years, and I recognize a toxic workplace when I see one. The man who appeared to be the owner or manager was reasonably pleasant and made some effort to assist me, but if he owns this store, he needs to explain why his employees feel so comfortable operating this way. He told me they were not offering mailboxes and that mailbox services were being phased out, while another UPS Store told me they had heard nothing about that. Coming from Las Vegas, I am accustomed to businesses understanding one basic principle: if you want my money, treat me with respect. That standard was nowhere to be found here.
The dark-skinned Black employee handling my transaction acted as though he wanted to help me just enough to get the interaction over with. When a line formed, he stood staring at me instead of simply asking me to step aside. When I asked about a mailbox, he repeatedly said, “I don’t know,” without asking the supervisor, so I had to find the answer myself. He also misspelled my name on the shipping label. The lighter-skinned Black employee appeared to be the ringleader and one of the main sources of the negative energy in the store. He spoke at customers instead of to them, carried himself as though he was attempting to be intimidating, and displayed a nasty, funky attitude. I was not intimidated or moved by his little tantrum. I especially disliked how he treated a dark-skinned Black woman who politely asked how he was doing. He initially acted as though she had not spoken and then spoke at her dismissively when she asked again. Meanwhile, a white customer helped carry my boxes, and the white employee was the only worker who proactively offered assistance. That contrast said everything.
I am a twelve-year Air Force veteran, and I remained pleasant because I was going to finish what I came there to do, but I already knew I would never return. I was being intentional about where I spent my money and nearly kept moving because this appeared to be an Asian-owned business. I made an exception because I saw Black men working there and wanted my dollars to support Black employment. That was clearly a mistake. As the saying goes, all skinfolk are not kinfolk. Do not assume that because Black employees are behind the counter, they care about Black customers or will treat them with respect. Instead of demonstrating Black excellence, knowing their jobs like the backs of their hands, and carrying themselves like leaders in the room, these men acted as though collecting a check was their only concern. If the lighter-skinned employee does not want to work at UPS, the Army is hiring, colleges are enrolling, and other employers are available. Black customers would be better served keeping it moving and spending their dollars somewhere their presence is valued. If you're the store owner, don't get under my review and try to do damage control.Cause.I'm going over the corporate to say something about what's going on at your store. You're not gonna be able to contain me paperwork getting pulled 🙃.
