  I strongly recommend you do not use Primo to supply your water. There are lots of cheaper and better options. Near as we can tell * we were spending about $70 a month with Primo for 5 gallon water bottle service and a dispenser . * we can get the same thing by moving to Culligan for about $40 a month. * we can have the same amount of water in 16.9 oz bottles delivered from Walmart for $15 a month. * you can buy a water dispenser like Primo rents to you for $12 a month for $189 on Amazon. * our clients prefer bottled water to water in glasses from the dispenser Primo offers. We had been using Primo and their predecessor, Sparklets since 2006 and would not have changed but for a recent horrible customer service issue. Recently, our bottom load water dispenser started leaking. As near as we can tell the hot water melted a plastic seal and every time we dispensed hot or cold water, the water dispenser would leak. We reported the leak on 5/18/26. The earliest they could get us a new water dispenser was more than a week later, on 5/26. When they delivered it out, it was a top load water dispenser. We asked if they could replace it for a bottom load water dispenser (easier to replace the bottle - you don’t have to lift it as high) like we had. The delivery man said he would look into it. The new water dispenser stopped working 3 days later on Friday 5/29/26. Neither the hot nor cold would work. Before we could call it in, on 6/1/26 it started working again. On Friday 6/5/26 it stopped working again. That same day we called in to see when we were going to our replacement bottom feed dispenser. The representative told us we were paying $12.09 for a top load and if we wanted a bottom load, we would have to pay $24.99 a month. And the earliest he could have a new one out to us was Wednesday 6/10/26. We first had a problem on 5/18 and it still isn’t fixed. So we looked on their website. It said the rent the bottom load water dispenser for $11.99 per month. I don’t know where they get the $24.99 a month they quoted us. We looked on line. Popular Mechanics list the second best water cooler as the Brio Self Cleaning and third best as the Brio Non Self Cleaning. The water cooler we had was not self cleaning near as I can tell. Amazon sells the Self Cleaning one for $289 with two day delivery, and the Non Self Cleaning one (their best seller) for $189, next day delivery. We are making some changes. Update. Primo did in fact try to "make it right" as they said in their reply below, with the offer of a discount.. I have to give them credit for that. But even with the discount Walmart is still half as expensive as Primo. Their poor customer service was actually a benefit to me.

  You don’t realize you need water service until you start getting water service. Sergio is consistent and accurate and I appreciate the customer service. I have my 5 gallons, Splash and cups delivered on a regular basis. As long as you stay on top of your needs through their app you’ll get great service.
