This place is dangerous. No mail delivery on 6-23-2026, people who needed their medications delivered could possibly code or die. It will be reported to the US Government.

The 1 star is being generous and only for the few capable individuals that work out of this location. Heavens help you if you have any kind of non- standard sized letter to be delivered. Twice in the weeks the carrier makes up excuses to not work and return items. From "no such address" to "rescheduled to verify address" when I've lived here 15+ years. Both seem to happen on Friday afternoons. Just be honest and say you aren't going to work and leave early without doing your job in delivering the mail. When you go into the branch to see if they can give you the package, they can't find it and you hear the people in front of you and all around are in there for the same reason. No wonder no one uses the post office anymore unless forced to.

This many 1 star reviews can't be wrong. I have no idea how a 100 year old business can continue to be ran so poorly, but this location's employees have the worst attitudes I've encountered for people that get paid extremely well and work in an air conditioned building. If you hate customer service so much, quit and go work on the railroad. More than ever I've been continually having packages mishandled, not delivered after they're scanned as out for delivery, and I even had a package bounch around the different Houston USPS facilities for a week before finally being delivered and when I went to this Post Office to ask what was going on I was told that the address had to have been wrong on my package, that the zip code was incorrect, and I just have to wait. But nope, once I finally got the packet the address was exactly as it should be and I was just being dismissed and my issue minimized by people that can't do their job correctly. You ever wonder why there's no real way of making a complaint with the post office? Because they know their employees don't give a damn and they refuse to acknowledge that the issues are from the top all the way to the bottom and the few people that do care to do a good job are mistreated and pushed out of their job just to be replaced by somebody else that doesn't care to actually get anything done. Oh, and if you do go in person to try to get help, good luck even getting anybody that works the front counter to be available even when they're at the counter. I've had them just sit there stapling papers and looking at the computer without even acknowledging I was waiting for help. Be real. As service provider that's well known accusing the customer of being belligerent they sure don't do anything to help the situation with their entitled and disrespectful approach to "helping" people that are taking the time out of their day to try to resolve an issue YOU created.

I had a scheduled passport appointment for my minor child ( both parents must be present so whole family there) We arrived 15 minutes early, waited in line, and were told to wait to the side (with about 5 minutes until appt time ... all fine.) While waiting we realize only ONE staff member is there to handle passport appointments AND the steady stream of customers there to mail things or buy stamps. The regular postal customers are getting priority, even though passport appointments have been waiting well past appointment times!! I get letting a few extra customers go to clear what should be quick transactions, but a steady stream of people kept us waiting. After about 35 mins past our scheduled time I had enough (toddler couldn't sit still any longer ) and made a fuss and interrupted the next regular customer being taken and the staff member (who I totally empathize with being left stranded), at last, pulled someone from the back to help. There were 3 other people waiting behind us for passports. It seems uncalled for if you have scheduled appointments to not have staff to cover them. At least have a system of helping a few customers for mail services then switch back to an appointment to keep both sides moving. The person running the counter seemed to be waiting for the line to 100% clear before helping passport appointments, that's not okay when it is a non stop stream of people.
