Worst post office I've yet experienced in Houston. I'm not one to complain or write negative reviews, but the clerks here were quite rude, and even though the office was not busy at all they declined to provide service or assistance to nearly everyone, rejecting to offer us help and directing us to the single self service kiosk with a long line while they sit at the counter doing seemingly nothing. Never had such a wack experience with the USPS before.

I came to this post office around 4 PM. The self-service kiosk was not working and there was only one employee working the counter despite several people needing service. When I walked into the main area, there was an unhoused man inside smoking a cigarette, which was concerning. There was also another employee sitting outside monitoring how many customers were able to enter for service. Overall, the gentleman working the counter was doing a great job and handling the situation as best as he could. I hope management gets him some additional help because he was clearly trying to keep things moving despite being understaffed.

The store was incredibly busy, and unfortunately, there was only one employee working. Despite the circumstances, Xavier handled everything amazingly! He was patient, professional, and treated every customer kindly. I usually don’t have the best experiences at this location because of some of the rude employees, but Xavier completely shifted my opinion. He deserves recognition for providing such great customer service, especially while handling such a busy store on his own

Had some letters stollen From inside the post office. The letters had checks that were washed and name changed. The concerning part is that those letters were dropped off INSIDE the post office in an area not accessible to the public.

Government workers are the most miserable workers. They feel trapped where they are, and they place all of that discontent onto you as if you're the reason for their inept existence 7/30/2026. The one lady working the counter has got to find some inner peace. I came into USPS to drop off a return, and waited in line. She directed me over to the other counter to drop off my package, and I took a picture of my package (just the shipping label) and waited patiently while she took care of other customers. While I waited, she got into it with some other lady about her address, made the lady get out of line to fill out her form and then instructed her to get back into line. Which was understandable, but what wasn't was the eye rolling, the sarcastic comments, and the general resentment exuding from her. She made unnecessary comments and expressed annoyance in front of her current customer. After several customers are checked out, I tell her that I still need a receipt of my transaction as per the requirement from the company I was dropping off of. Instead of just saying "sure" or to get back in line, she instead says "but you just took a picture of it" as in her way of saying why are you bothering me? What does that have to do with anything? A picture of the package's destination does not equate to a proper proof of my transaction. It's like someone asking for your ID, and you take a selfie instead. A picture of a box with no date, timestamp, etc. is not valid proof and I'm simply asking for a receipt. I'm not being any type of way either. When she said this, she shared a mean spirited chuckle with the customer in front of her. I held my tongue because I decided that this lady must be deeply unhappy, and her unhappiness has nothing to do with me really. She prints out my receipt in complete silence, and I still thank her. But in truth, she did not deserve it. I doubt she'll ever see this. But if you do lady, seek help and maybe a masseuse or a spa treatment. Maybe that'll help you be less miserable of a person.
