Somehow, the River Oaks Post Office manages to change that. Barbara is one of the kindest, most patient, and genuinely caring USPS employees I’ve ever encountered. No matter how busy the line is or how many questions people have, she treats everyone with grace, professionalism, and a smile. You never feel rushed, and you always leave feeling like you were helped by someone who truly cares. The entire team at this location deserves recognition. Every visit has been a positive experience, and it’s refreshing to walk into a post office where customer service is clearly a priority. One unexpected bonus is the people. I don’t know what it is about this location, but I’ve had some genuinely pleasant conversations while waiting in line. It somehow feels like a little slice of community in the middle of a busy city. If you have a choice of which post office to visit, I wholeheartedly recommend the River Oaks location. And Barbara, if you happen to read this, thank you for making ordinary errands feel just a little brighter. You’re an incredible ambassador for the USPS, and whatever they’re paying you… I guarantee it ain’t enough !! You are the queen 👑✨

However, the staff was amazing. Barbara was polite, efficient, and had both of ours finished within 15 minutes. I had even made a mistake she found! If you need a passport, don't second guess going here. We did not have 1 single issue.
