I am giving 5 stars for the employees. The USPS is a bankrupted government institution that should be privatize. Despite being understaffed the few brave employees left work with joy to help you with whatever needs.

Staff was extremely rude. I came in to mail out an important document to the department of state. I had a few simple questions in regards to how to properly send out document. Instead of answering my questions Employee already seemed agitated and became argumentative , hostile and rude. Not a good place to send out your documents properly

I have been there twice and the same lady has been there the last 2 Saturdays. When I went in on June 13, 2026 at 10 am, she had the same nasty attitude. Find people that actually like people to serve the public. We should not have to be subjected that kind of treatment.

USPS has to be one of the most dysfunctional organizations when it comes to delivering something as simple as a piece of mail. On May 21st, I mailed a check via Certified Mail from Houston to a title company in San Antonio. Not across the country. Not internationally. About a three-hour drive away. Today is June 1st, and it still hasn’t been delivered. The tracking history claims they attempted delivery on May 23rd, a Saturday, and noted that the business was closed, stating they would reattempt delivery on the next business day. Fair enough. Except that apparently “next business day” translates to complete silence and no updates for over a week. Concerned that a time-sensitive check had seemingly vanished into the USPS black hole, I visited my local post office in Houston for assistance. Their solution? Track it down myself. I was told to start by calling the San Antonio post office, and if that didn’t work, call the USPS 1-800 number. In other words, the office that accepted my money for a tracked, certified delivery service had absolutely no interest in helping me locate the item they lost. Think about how absurd that is. You pay extra for Certified Mail specifically so a piece of important mail can be tracked and accounted for. Then when it disappears, the response is essentially, “Not our problem. Good luck.” It’s hard to imagine a customer service model where the paying customer is expected to do all the investigative work after the service provider fails to provide the service they were paid to perform. What exactly is the value of paying for tracking and certification if, when something goes wrong, USPS simply shrugs and tells you to start making phone calls yourself? What a disgrace.
