I definitely would NOT RECOMMEND this location due to their poor customer service and unhelpful staff.
I booked an appointment online for my passport and got a confirmation email for the appointment. I needed to expedite some documentation ahead of the appointment to get it here on time and paid +$100 to overnight ship them. Day of the appointment I TOOK OFF WORK and went in to this location. The worker who I spoke to was very rude and said my appointment was canceled. I asked how was I supposed to know it was canceled, she said someone should have called me to let me know. I received no call or notice they canceled my appointment after they already confirmed it. I asked why it was canceled and she said there was no one there to help. She said this while she was sitting there doing absolutely nothing. I don’t understand why this location approves appointments then doesn’t staff the necessary people to actually hold those appointments. They didn’t offer any options to rebook for the service. They’re definitely losing out on a lot of revenue at this location by canceling appointments and not offering alternatives. I figured I would give this location a try despite their reviews but they have certainly lived up to their terrible reputation. I will be using any other location instead of this one for all future services.

There is no APC kiosk here, so if they're closed you can't mail a package unless you've printed the label out at home.

Visited this post office on Saturday, May 2nd at about 10am .I was under the impression it was ok to resize a Priority Mail box as long as it was NOT a Flat Rate box, and that I pay for priority shipping. I've been doing this for a couple of years with no problems, no surcharges or return packages. I've also seen discussions in reseller groups about others doing this. Yesterday I went to get a receipt for a Priority package in a box I resized. (Mind you, I try to avoid this post office, but being a Saturday it was the only one near me open.) The postal worker told me I couldn't resize a Flat Rate box. I told her I was aware of this and pointed out that it was a Large Shipping box, not Flat Rate. She seemed annoyed and said, " Well, you still can't do that". I told her it was news to me as I'd never had a problem before and she said, " well it's not my fault other employees aren't doing their job." I don't know if she was just giving me a hard time because I corrected her, as she seemed to give the customer before me a hard time about something as well. I reached out to some people in my groups about this, wondering if this was in fact true. Several members who are postal workers of 10 plus years, including training managers said she is wrong. So instead of apologizing to me that she had made a mistake she chose to humiliate me, claiming that I was the one with an attitude, that she had been there 6 years and knew the rules. Well, she obviously doesn't and now I will definitely go out of my way to avoid this post office at all costs. The post office on W 19th is way more helpful and they will be getting all my business from now on.

Unsatisfactory experience I had at this particular USPS location for a scheduled passport appointment.
I had made an appointment specifically for passport services, including having my passport photo taken on-site. However, upon arrival, I was informed by an employee—quite abruptly and discourteously—that I would need to go else where to have my passport photo taken. This was both unexpected and frustrating, as the service was part of the appointment I had scheduled.
In addition to the inconvenience, the employee’s tone and manner were unprofessional and dismissive. As a customer who had taken the time to schedule properly and arrive on time, I found this treatment unacceptable. The situation resulted in a significant waste of my time and caused unnecessary stress.
I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed. Clear communication about available services and improved customer service standards would help prevent similar situations in the future.

The most useless people work in this establishment. You’re telling me I had a passport appointment and once I got there the lady told me “oh all passport appointments are canceled today but there was no one here to have let yall know”. So damn useless and despicable especially the lady at the front desk just horrible service. They should shut this down.
