I had a very disappointing experience at the UPS Store on 9597 Jones Rd in Houston.
The customer service representative name was Joel
When I walked in, I was not greeted or acknowledged at all. The employee had his back turned and made no effort to assist me, even after I stood there waiting.
When he finally turned around, instead of greeting me professionally, the first thing he said was to ask if I had an “attitude.” This was completely uncalled for—I hadn’t said anything or done anything to warrant that kind of comment.
When I calmly asked why he would say that, the situation escalated unnecessarily. He refused to serve me and told me to go elsewhere, saying he “wasn’t dealing with me today.” This was extremely embarrassing, especially in front of other customers.
As I was leaving, I could hear him laughing and talking about the situation, which made it even worse. An elderly woman even stopped me on the way out and said she had experienced similar behavior from the same employee.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Customer service should never feel like this. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it.
T and Bri were helpful with my printing and return! Love their friendliness and professionalism!

Very disappointing experience. The notary refused to notarize a document simply because they were not familiar with a foreign passport used as identification. A valid, government-issued passport should be acceptable ID, and it’s concerning that lack of familiarity was used as a reason to decline service. This caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience. I would recommend finding a notary who is properly trained and comfortable handling standard identification documents, including international ones.
This morning's excursion to the store was surprisingly tranquil, with minimal crowds. I arrived carrying a sizable box, intending to return an item to Amazon. Upon approaching the service counter, I was met by a rather uninviting employee. When I informed her of my return request, she curtly gestured with her finger, indicating the designated drop-off spot. As I presented my QR code, she impassively instructed me to "turn your phone" before scanning it with a complete lack of warmth or engagement. Her demeanor throughout the entire interaction was notably unfriendly.

I hope someone in charge views this review. This is the 3rd Sunday I have come during posted open hours and the store is closed.
I reported thru the week and am told maybe the attendee is closed for lunch.
If that's the case, a courtesy sign should be posted.
Today 4/12/26 I called multiple times. The phone rings for 6 or 7 times, gets picked up with silence for 10 seconds or so then hang up.
You never know if an employee is in need of help in this scenario. Please address with the scheduled team member. Thank you
