- BGbong glitterNov 15, 20251.0I saw the mail carrier pull into my driveway, so I walked out to the backyard to get my package. Instead, she looked right at me, did a two-point turn in my driveway, as I was yelling and waving at her. Then, she drove back toward the road, with me running behind her waving my hands and yelling, "I'm home!" She backed up to my mailbox and placed a "Sorry we missed you." No, you never even attempted to deliver, even when you saw me... as we made eye contact. That was rude, unprofessional and just someone in too much of a hurry to do her job correctly. I filed a complaint with USPS, and rescheduled the delivery for Monday... although you should have done your job correctly the first time.

The delivery driver places our packages in the worst spots instead of bring them to the front door and dropping them off when they don't fit in the mailbox. I have heard that this is an ongoing issue that needs to be resolved. The office does nothing about it when you call to explain the situation and they are quite rude about it instead of understanding where there customers concerns are coming from. I have only started having this issue this year where the driver no longer does this. I think they may have changed staff and gotten a new, rude, and lazy driver who refuses to help their customers by putting forth minimal effort. My packages were thrown in my yard by a gate. Seriously unacceptable work ethic to put forth. It's shameful really to represent a federal tax funded agency this way. The people of Fairfield deserve better.
