- JGjacob gastelumJul 2, 20261.0The USPS is a lesson in what happens with government involvement. This organization is an absolute joke and a complete failure in delivering quality and service. I went in today to mail an important letter and the teller, who was extremely nice and a very pleasant person, explained to me that the letter would arrive in 1-3 days (mailing from decatur to tulsa oklahoma) and would cost $36! Sending traditional mail and arriving in approximately the same time would cost $0.78... how in the world is that a justified increase in cost? USPS needs to be allowed to die on the vine and something new and competent take its place. This is not an admission of intent in any way. The older i get the more i understand why the term "going postal" is a thing...

The one that helped me was the older lady name Tammy. She could not have been more rude. She refused to look for my package and would just say it wasn't there yet. I tried to explain to her I received a notice in my mailbox and she kept trying to call other people in line and would just ignore me. I wish we could choose which post office we could utilize.
