THEY CLOSE FOR LUNCH, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO!!! LAZY LAZY LAZY LAZY!! What a ridiculous waste of time. I went to this location to mail a package at 11:30am today. Not only were they closed, but the self-service kiosk is out of service. I had to go to the Oak Lawn Ave location.

If I could give zero stars I would. The woman who works here is completely miserable and has the worst attitude. I came in today with a package to be sent with a QR and simply needed one piece of tape to close the envelope. Mind you - this is never an issue at UPS or FedEx. The woman told me I needed to PAY for tape and could buy it by strips or by roll. I completely understand if I was taping up a huge box, but this was completely ridiculous. For a package that is already being paid for to be sent, I don't understand the harm in ensuring it's properly taped and going on your way. The level of customer service is underground at this point.

There is a reason this location was completely dead and only has 1 star reviews… TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I had a taped up package ready to send with a printed out label ready to affix but it was a legal sheet size so it covered more than one side of the box. I told the lady at the front counter I didn’t tape it down yet because I wasn’t sure how to since it was so big. She responded with “You should’ve taped it down because we charge for tape and I’m not going to do it for free.” Then she asked if they sent a QR code. I explained this was a prepaid label and it’s the only size it would print out but I just needed a couple pieces of tape and direction on how to put it on the box best for shipping. She again repeated she wouldn’t do it for free and I’d have to buy a roll of tape. So I went to FedEx nearby where they taped my label on the box for me and shipped it with my prepaid label. I usually use a different USPS location and will continue to do so where the people who work there know what customer service is and want your business.

Terrible customer service. I stopped by to drop off a package and requested a receipt because USPS has lost packages before, and I wanted proof that I dropped it off. I rang the bell since, of course, no one was at the counter. The employee eventually came in through the front door while talking on her cell phone and simply asked, “How can I help?” She had a bad attitude from the start and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. When I explained that I needed a receipt, she told me to just use the self-service drop box. I specifically wanted a receipt because packages can disappear without any proof of acceptance. The entire interaction was unprofessional and left me with very little confidence in this location. Seriously…who is running this place??

Went to ship a package and the label machine is down … so Basicly just close the store since only one label machine exists in the whole store and you can’t provide any service. Smh avoid this dump if possible.
