  Recently moved to the area, and this was my first time visiting this location. Unfortunately, the employee completely ruined the experience. She seemed to nitpick or nag at nearly every little thing. For example, a gentleman came in to ship some pre-packaged cans. Based on the interaction, it appeared he had shipped them multiple times before without any issues. However, she made a very big deal about the packaging, went to the back, presumably to speak with a manager, and eventually came back and manager said the items were fine to ship. Even after that, she continued going back and forth with both the customer and the manager about it. Then it was my turn. I had an Amazon box that literally needed one layer of tape to seal it. Her response was, “I’ll ship this time, but next time I’ll charge a convenience fee.” For a layer of tape? Seriously? There was absolutely no reason for the interaction to be that unpleasant. If you’re having a bad day, I understand — but please don’t take it out on the customers. Being new to the area and was hoping this would be a convenient location I could continue using, but after that experience, I’ll definitely think twice about coming back

  I'm writing in regards the outstanding customer service I recently received from Johnny, the store manager on McKinney Ave, Dallas, Texas. I had a big package that weighed approximately 30 lbs. Because my office is about a quarter mile from this UPS store, I decided to stop in and ask if they provided pick up service since my car was in the shop. Johnny quickly offered to walk over and pick up the package using a portable wagon. I was reluctant to accept his offer because it was one of the hottest days in Dallas- 105 degrees. He insisted on helping, and I am very grateful that he did! I drop off packages at this location frequently. He greets every customer with a smile and is very polite to his staff. I wish that more locations had a rockstar manager like Johnny! Tina

  One August morning in 2026, I needed a printout and I took my USB drive to the UPS store on McKinney av. It turned out to be a little more complicated than I expected and Jim(?) who was working there came by and walked through the complications in his good natured way and got me through the surgery in one piece. Eventually when I was ready to pay, I was told not to bother and just write an honest review instead. So here it is, promise kept!
