I’ve lived in Copperas Cove for almost two decades and have experienced a number of staff changes at this particular UPS Store. I’m always reluctant to visit, due to the continued negative atmosphere of the store. When you enter the store, the employees are not happy to see you and there is absolutely no greetings. I always feel like my presence is a total inconvenience to them. There is a light skin black male that works there and I’m not sure what his title is, but every time I have gone there he typically just looks me. No smile; no welcoming words; no greeting; no gestures whatsoever. I’ve served at the executive level and in my opinion this there is a cultural dynamic that may stem from poor management or ownership. No matter what staff is installed, the issues with customer service continue to haunt the business. Currently, I only stop in if I have a pre labeled box that just needs to be scanned and dropped off. I typically can complete this on my own. This is a relatively small town and I hope that they can turn things around.

I recently went to this store to return like 5 things. Michelle helped me and she was beyond sweet, she made sure everything was taken care of, I even left without scanning one of my bar codes and Michelle literally went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the bar code scanned and the return sent. She is amazing. I cannot stress how stressful it is for me to return stuff especially 5 things at one (3 of them being big items). Thank you so much Michelle for your kindness 🩷
Michelle helped me today and made sure I was helped and even come to lobby helping others standing in line for long. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Thanks Michelle

Rude and lazy employees. Three female employees, no eye contact, rude, and no type of customer service.

Just picked up a package. I called and asked 3 days ago if there was any kind of a fee. The employee that I spoke with (Kenneth the manager) told me there would be no fee if I picked up the same day it was delivered. I picked the package up less than 3 hours after it was delivered.
I was told there was a $10 hold fee when I went to pick it up.I stated that I had the conversation with another employee a few days ago. The lady working the counter said that was incorrect. I had to sign a log book that stated a hold fee would be $5. I questioned this and was told large packages are $10. I wish she could have got her story straight. She was obviously making things up and trying to rip me off. I guess she must get a commission.
Also, this package is a high dollar item that requires identification for delivery. The employee I dealt with did not check my ID, she was more concerned about extorting 10 dollars out of me. I definitely wouldn't recommend having anything of value sent to or from this location.
The lady I dealt with also had a terrible attitude and didn't seem to understand the definition of customer service. Maybe it was because I don't look like her. Unfortunately there's a lot of people in the world that don't like others based on certain characteristics.
All very inappropriate business practices and unprofessional customer service. When I'm told one thing one day, and another thing another day, and I see the other reviews regarding their customer service, it makes a person wonder. Avoid this place, do not conduct business with them, they are dishonest and hateful.
I guess $10 is worth more than being honest and having a good reputation. Good luck!
A quick recap: didn't protect my high dollar package from possible theft, lack of professionalism and customer service, policy changes based on how you look (prejudice), and more concerned with taking money than following policy and making customers feel welcome.
This disabled veteran will never do business with this location again. I hope Jack Schwartz, the owner, takes note of how your staff are treating disabled veterans.
AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!!
