  I am extremely disappointed that my package was lost while in USPS custody before it was ever scanned into the tracking system. I used the exterior drop box at my local post office because customers are directed to use it or wait in exceptionally long lines. I followed the process provided by USPS, yet the package never entered the system and cannot be located. When I contacted the post office, I was told the carrier responsible for collecting mail from the exterior drop box was likely at fault and was later advised not to use that drop box for packages. That is unacceptable, since USPS makes the drop box available for customer use and customers should be able to rely on it. My primary concern is not simply the postage refund. The central issue is that USPS lost my package before it was scanned, and my insurance claim was denied even though I paid for shipping and insurance in good faith. I am now left with the loss of the package contents and no meaningful recourse. Because USPS cannot locate the package and has denied the insurance claim, I am requesting a review of this matter and reimbursement related to this shipment. It is unreasonable for a customer to bear the full financial loss when a package is lost before scanning while using a USPS-provided drop box. This experience has caused me to lose confidence in the exterior drop boxes, and I now wait in line to have every package scanned and accepted in person. I respectfully ask USPS to review how this package was lost, reconsider the denial, and provide appropriate reimbursement for the shipment and the loss caused by USPS handling.

  Not sure what the deal is. This place took possession of a package of mine 10 days ago says they took possession and scanned it then never updated ever again after that . I see many other people missing mail from this place now I’m extremely worried . I try calling they don’t answer . I feel like some workers might be stealing mail just because how often it seems this place has issues. Someone needs to investigate deeper this is a big issue mail is a very serious thing. I’m thinking about making police report about this store. Mail shouldn’t just be “lost” or missing that often.. not all mail is replaceable

  The post office on East Jackson street is very efficient. It’s not crowded like the post office on Josie.

  Ive gone to this location a couple times and honestly the India and Asian lady are nice. However I called today and the African American lady that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude. First she spoke so soft, I was being so patient with her then when I was explaining to her what happened to my package next thing I hear is hear yelling at my ear. “HOLD ON HOLD ON” and the I’m left on hold?? Like they literally will hire anyone to work here I guess…
