  I dropped off a package in Round Rock to ship overseas. The attendants there required me to open my packages so they could "inspect" them. They sealed them with tamper evident tape. This was weird but I've not shipped international before and didn't think much more about it. The following day I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from DHL and they wanted the code to the lock on my box so they could "inspect" it again before going on the airplane. They claim this to be a requirement. I informed them that I do not have clearance to release that information over the phone. I contacted my internal company contact that works with DHL to ask for clearance to give DHL the code and if this was a legitimate request. His DHL contact replied back that the package had already left and was in Hong Kong, no issues reported. The following the day the package shows back up at my office. To make this worse, this was one part of a two part package, the other one was sent on. If I weren't required to use DHL by my company, I would never use them again.

  Vey close to airport. Very friendly service overall to explain the differences in between the shipping options! Nice one to get things done efficiently. Shipping before taking a flight, this is a good service office to get things done!

  The only reason I’m giving one star is because I have to give something. Zero stars isn’t an option. My package has been delayed for days. I’ve been repeatedly told that it would be delivered same day or next day and it hasn’t. I made sure delivery instructions allowed for no signature and said to leave the package at our gate, and instead of doing that I received a message that the delivery was attempted but no one was home. . . Which is a blatant lie because I have security cameras, so no delivery was ever attempted AND I was also home all day as well. I have been lied to by staff saying the driver was contacted and delivery would be made that same day by 5 pm. I was also told I would receive a call back from a supervisor which I haven’t received. The representatives hang up on you and lie to you to just get you off the phone and don’t even attempt to resolve the issue. DHL has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.

  The most expensive and the Worst service!!! Packages always delayed! Customer service is useless and all they do is to lie about estimate delivery time just to get you off the phone! They can’t comtact the driver or give any helpful info. For that much money that people pay for the service there should be NO excuses on regular basis that you have too many packages! Also if you missed a delivery it is expected that you would be the first in line next day but don’t hope for that. Garbage scam company.
