- TAtahmineh alizadehJul 11, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with USPS. My 2025 tax documents were lost after I trusted USPS to deliver them to the IRS. I paid extra for tracking so I could verify that my package was delivered. After waiting nearly two months, I contacted the IRS to check on my tax return, only to find out they had never received my package. When I called USPS, I was told I would need to resend all of my tax documents. After speaking with the manager, she tried to explain that the IRS may not have scanned the package, or that sometimes packages miss the final scan. But that is exactly why I paid extra for tracking. If USPS can simply forget to scan the final step, then what was the point of paying for that service? Losing important tax documents is a serious issue. It caused unnecessary stress, delayed my tax filing, and forced me to prepare and resend everything. What disappointed me the most was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility, I was given excuses. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with USPS. I trusted them with important legal documents, and they failed to provide the reliable service I paid for.
