Had a package from Amazon delivered from you guys today. The bag was open and the box was smashed up and also opened. Isnt opening people's mail illegal? This post office has a constant flow of problems. Pretty sad.

I’m an online seller, and I ship tons of packages out. They had no one in the building and they tried to refuse to ship out more than 5 packages. The lady was terribly rude and unprofessional. If you have to ship something out go to the next town. This was horrible experience. Will never return to this USPS

There are plenty of issues that cold be addressed about this Post Office and how it's managed, but one in particular really stands out. Late last summer/fall, a bar opened up across the street. Since the Post Office parking lot was so close, the bar patrons decided it would be a good place to park on the weekends. I don't know if this was encouraged by the bar's management, but it apparently isn't discouraged. The issue I have with the parking being taken up (some nights 100 pct of the spots used) is how it could negatively affect the seniors or disabled in the community. Some people may not have the luxury of coming back another day or time to check their mail. Others may not have the ability to park farther away and walk to reach the building. Another concern is for the safety of Post Office patrons as they travel through the parking lot. With customers of the bar coming and going in that same lot, the increased traffic, along with potentially intoxicated drivers, could very easily lead to an accident, injury or worse. I addressed these issues in person and by email with staff and management at the Sweetwater Post Office. After repeated contact, I was eventually told that "No Parking" signs were ordered and would be installed once they arrived. When they finally did arrive, the tiny signs read "30 Minute Parking - Patrons Only". Not very noticeable, but at least they are there. With signs in place, it now becomes an enforcement issue. Local authorities have shown no interest in enforcing the rules, so why hasn't Post Office management reached out to a higher authority (they are Federal after all). There are numerous people who feel the same way as I do and have also complained, yet still see no results. I just hope that it doesn't take an accident and someone being injured to finally get something done about this.
