Ashley and Drew make it actually a delightful experience to go to the post office instead of a chore. No matter how busy they are both are always smiling and courteous. They go out of their way to make sure all your needs are taken care of. More post office clerks, or any clerks for that matter, could learn a lot from them!!! Way to go Shelbyville!!
- SSStephaniMar 12, 20261.0Went in to ship an item. I ship items the exact same way, have been for years with zero issues at any other post office. Today I’m told I need to redo my packaging. I simply looked at the lady and said I’ll go somewhere else. As she proceeded to tell me she can help me. Well obviously not if my package is incorrectly packaged. In front of me were three Hispanic guys, that needed help but she obviously didn’t care to help them as she was frustrated and told them to step aside so she could assist me. Worst service ever. Went down the road to a different post office and they scanned my QR code and put label on the exact same package she denied and done. No issues
- KMKim MerrillJul 15, 20251.0They really need to fix how they handle PO box deliveries. On the website, it will say "delivered, in PO box." If you go, the box will be empty, and they'll say "come back at 10am, we're just busy but we'll have it done by then." If you do this, they'll just say "oh, we're so busy, come back tomorrow." Like DON'T say its delivered if its not delivered. Its either in the box or its not. I dont understand.

I tried calling the Shelbyville PO several times but there was no answer. I filed an online complaint an requested to be called. A few days later I received an email assuring me the problem had been addressed and corrected. Before I left home I put a piece of 2 inch tape across the inside of my mailbox with a note stuck to the tape visible when you open the door. Yesterday there was 13 pieces of mail in the box BEHIND the note.saying when the hold mail was active
