- CCCJul 22, 20211.0HORRIBLE!!! Excuse after EXCUSE not to deliver packages..!!! So over it!!! Athens always delivered my packages great! Now since we HAVE to depend on Riceville to deliver packages it's just one issue after another.. there is NO EXCUSE not to do the job you get PAID to do!! Enough said!! And note to the manager.. if you have several people complaining about the same thing.. maybe you should find out for yourself instead of just taking an employee's word for it!! Have a nice day!
- BBBrandi BowmanMar 27, 20201.0For years I never had an issue, but suddenly, about 6-8 months ago, they refuse to deliver anything that doesn't fit in my mailbox. They say it's because we don't have a turnaround in our driveway. I have been standing in my yard, and she never even attempts to hand me the package. In fact, she says it's undeliverable before she even leaves the post office (I get emails from the place of purchase at 7 am often stating delivery attempt was made unsuccessfully.) She leaves the package and doesn't even bring it with her. So if my driveway is the problem, why can't she hand it to me personally, if I walk up to the mailbox while she is there? I have made complaints multiple times, but the manager continues making excuses for her. I've been told I need to build a box to accept packages, and without it there's nothing they can do. So very frustrating. Worst excuse for a post office I have ever experienced.
