I had a very disappointing experience with a USPS employee around 10:00 a.m. today. The employee was a young woman working at the counter at that time. From the beginning of the interaction, I felt as though I was an inconvenience for simply trying to complete my mailing. The employee was on her phone when I approached the counter, had an abrupt tone, and was dismissive throughout our interaction. Rather than providing assistance, she made me feel like I was bothering her by asking questions. At one point, I even asked if everything was okay because of the way I was being spoken to. The communication felt unprofessional and discourteous. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect and professionalism. When I initially arrived, I also interacted with the manager. I did not find that interaction to be particularly welcoming or helpful, and the manager subsequently went on break. Because I still needed assistance, I sought help from another USPS employee. I later spoke with Kayla McKenzie, a USPS employee who informed me that she was not normally assigned to that location but was there assisting that day. Kayla was professional, respectful, and willing to help address my concerns. She listened to my experience and indicated that she would raise my concerns with management. Unfortunately, I left without completing what I came there to do and had to go elsewhere to finish my mailing. Customers should not feel like they are an inconvenience when they are simply asking for assistance. Professionalism, patience, and basic customer service expectations were lacking during this visit. I appreciate Kayla McKenzie’s willingness to help and her professionalism throughout the interaction. However, I am unsure whether my concerns were ever addressed, and I believe this situation should be reviewed so that future customers have a better experience.

Why in gods name is an overnight package left at a close office until the following Monday. It’s a bridesmaid dress. Yalls incompetence yet willingness to collect the funds for shipping is literally killing me. I’m so pissed off right now. I hope budget cuts hit yall and yall specifically/exclusively I’m dead serious

Front desk work is extremely rude and impersonal to every customer I saw her interact with, including myself. I’m pretty sure it’s the same woman that others have mentioned on here. I walked right out immediately.
