It’s no secret post office interactions can be less than the height of pleasurable experiences. My family and I have endured confusing and shocking moments ourselves. But those reviews are clearly written by others, and after my experience today it is right that credit be given where it’s due. A wonderful woman named Ty works as a clerk at this location and she was an absolute delight. She was professional, kind, clearly competent, answered my inexperienced questions, and guided me step by step through the process of mailing an official document to an out of state clerks office. If you or any others on your team see this review — thank you, Ty. Sincerely wish you all the best and admire your excellence and care in your role.

The receptionist, Linda, was incredibly rude. I’ve had more pleasant experiences at the DMV than the one I had with Linda. At the end of the interaction when I was paying for my shipment, she reached around the glass and clicked the green smiley face for me, indicating that I had had a pleasant experience. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Between the demeaning tone and the rude and sarcastic responses, I left feeling very upset. She gave off an arrogant, untouchable attitude. The item I was shipping was breakable so I asked if I could put fragile on the box. She proceeds to tell me “it’s not gonna matter, what matters is how it’s packaged” (completely fair!!) I told her i understood but asked if we could still put fragile on it for my mental. We do this same dance 3 times before she settles on giving me a marker so I can write fragile on it. The computer asks me if there is anything fragile, I hit yes. She let out a sigh and pulls out a stamp to stamp what I assume says “fragile” on the box. “Ugh this is so hard” she says as she stamps onto the box. I apologized about not being familiar with the process and her response was “well honey that’s not a good excuse because everyone orders packages.” To which I responded “i actually don’t” and she proceeded to tell me that I was a “fibber” and ask if I’ve ever gotten a piece of mail in my life. And believe it or not, sending and receiving a package are two very different experiences. Someone speaking to people like this should not be dealing with the public.

I needed to return a call regarding our premium forwarding service that had inadvertently cancelled due to my credit card number changing abruptly after some fraudulent charges. Linda had contacted us to let us know that the carrier was questioning if it should really be delivered. When I called, I was directed to a representative and the phone rang only 2 or 3 times and Linda answered and was able to assist me right away. Linda is just amazing! She is always friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent!
