The receptionist, Linda, was incredibly rude. I’ve had more pleasant experiences at the DMV than the one I had with Linda. At the end of the interaction when I was paying for my shipment, she reached around the glass and clicked the green smiley face for me, indicating that I had had a pleasant experience. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Between the demeaning tone and the rude and sarcastic responses, I left feeling very upset. She gave off an arrogant, untouchable attitude. The item I was shipping was breakable so I asked if I could put fragile on the box. She proceeds to tell me “it’s not gonna matter, what matters is how it’s packaged” (completely fair!!) I told her i understood but asked if we could still put fragile on it for my mental. We do this same dance 3 times before she settles on giving me a marker so I can write fragile on it. The computer asks me if there is anything fragile, I hit yes. She let out a sigh and pulls out a stamp to stamp what I assume says “fragile” on the box. “Ugh this is so hard” she says as she stamps onto the box. I apologized about not being familiar with the process and her response was “well honey that’s not a good excuse because everyone orders packages.” To which I responded “i actually don’t” and she proceeded to tell me that I was a “fibber” and ask if I’ve ever gotten a piece of mail in my life. And believe it or not, sending and receiving a package are two very different experiences. Someone speaking to people like this should not be dealing with the public.

I needed to return a call regarding our premium forwarding service that had inadvertently cancelled due to my credit card number changing abruptly after some fraudulent charges. Linda had contacted us to let us know that the carrier was questioning if it should really be delivered. When I called, I was directed to a representative and the phone rang only 2 or 3 times and Linda answered and was able to assist me right away. Linda is just amazing! She is always friendly, knowledgeable and extremely competent!

Wow I thought the reviews were a joke. Tried to post a package internationally to Australia where I am from and everyone was lovely. Then entered Linda! Condescending, rude, abrupt, shouting and horrible. Linda yells because we didn’t know where to address a package when asked to write it for a second time on the box in case, even though we weren’t from here. She was so unkind and took over from another person who was being so helpful. Linda really is giving USPS a bad name. Linda needs to stop snatching and belittling people.

If you want to get treated poorly then come here and request Linda. Linda loves to belittle customers and make them feel bad for...anything really. After I received my mini (unnecessary) lecture I went to press the middle (somewhat unsatisfied yellow) button on the customer satisfaction prompt and she lept over the counter, pushed my hand away and hit the green button- four times for good measure. All with her boss behind her. It baffles me- so not only is she a bully to customers but to her supervisors. Lucky for Linda I've been practicing pressing buttons so when I return I will press the "red" one. Also, unrelated but there is a sign that mentions they only take 4 customers per day (all before 9:30/10am and only on selected days) for passport related issues. Just thought I share that information.
