I walked into this facility at about 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon and needed counter service to mail a package. On my way in I saw a postal worker coming out. When I got to the counter around the corner everything was locked up tight. I walked back out and saw the same postal worker looking at her phone. I asked if the post office was closed. She said she was leaving for lunch and I could come back in about an hour. When did the post office start closing for lunch and at 1:30 on a Friday? This is the same post office that has lost packages for me before. I guess I’ll just have to start using the private package carriers like UPS and DHL.
