  I really wish I had read the reviews ahead of time before I ever made a passport appointment here. I arrived on time for my appointment and still had to wait in line for 30 mins. Got up to the counter and realized that we had forgotten the original birth certificate at home. I asked the clerk could I run home (10 mins away) to retrieve the original. She said I don't know if I'll have the time (like my time that I already had to wait meant nothing). Came right back. The lady who had made an appointment at 10:30 that was there when we were had gone so the logical thinking would be that there is no one at that slot anymore I should be able to get everything done (we walked back into the door at 10:20. We waited for another 30 minutes, with the lady never saying I'm not going to see you. Got up to the counter and the lady preceded to argue that she was not going to see us for an appointment that at this point had taken an hour. I am thoroughly disappointed in the customer service I received and can see why no one wants to use USPS anymore.

  The women at the counter work efficiently for the most part, so I'd give them 5 stars. The self-service kiosk can't be used after hours to ship packages since the drum that should open for package drop has been broken for over a year and is sealed shut. The staff told me 2 months ago that they ordered a new one months ago.

  I don't know the specific location so this will have to do. I have a package coming from Iowa to Alabama. From Iowa it went to Illinois and immediately went back to Iowa. It moved around in Iowa for 3 days! Finally made progress and got to Memphis Tennessee. I was hoping to get it the next day since Memphis is only 3 or 4 hours away. It was in Memphis for 4 hours and departed around 6pm. I wake up the next morning and check the tracking and now it's in GEORGIA! WHY??? Memphis is all the way on the left side of Tennessee! Why go completely through Alabama where the delivery is going and take the package to Georgia??? As you can see on the map the package almost went directly through where I am. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Pitiful service!!!!! Words can not express how disgusted I am. Well maybe the "sentence enhancers" could...

  FYI if you’ve selected this location for your passport appointment and select the “w/ photo” option, their camera is not working so essentially that option is not available. Apparently the camera hasn’t been working since last year according to the employee at Walgreens where I took my photo. So you’re better off getting your photo done at your nearest Walgreens first or the one located at 6310 Poplar (whichever is closest) then arriving for your appointment so you don’t have to start the process then dash to a Walgreens then return to the post office to complete your appointment.
