Small packages that are dropped in the indoor box aren't scanned until a couple days later. This wasn't the case when the lady worked at this location. She made sure that all packages were scanned by the end of her shift.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with the Clinton, TN post office was beyond frustrating. After moving here, I submitted a change of address request and later received a letter saying it did not go through. The letter clearly stated — in bold — that the fastest way to fix it was online. I followed those instructions and completed the process online. For whatever reason, it would not accept my personal card but did accept my business card. After completing it online, I threw the original letter away because I believed the issue was resolved. When I went to the Clinton post office for help, I was told I needed the paper and was instructed to call USPS customer service. Customer service then told me that all I needed was my ID and specifically said they had spoken with this branch to clear things up and that the post office would be able to help me the next morning. I came back with my ID exactly as instructed. The employee behind the counter, Zach, was rude from the start, refused to help, interrupted me while I was explaining the situation, and ultimately told me there was “nothing he could do.” When I explained that USPS customer service had already spoken with this branch and told me to come in with my ID, he dismissed me and effectively kicked me out of line. The most frustrating part is not even the address issue — it’s the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and willingness to help. I understand policies exist, but treating people with basic respect costs nothing. I will not be coming back to this post office for anything. I will drive to Oak Ridge, Heiskell, or Powell for my mailing needs from now on.
