- UMUrban MApr 30, 20261.0The staff at the post office are decently nice but I have lived in Chattanooga since January and there has been SIX TIMES that they "attempt to deliver my package but were unable." One time I even saw the driver driving past my house even though I literally had a package that was supposed to be delivered that day and it was marked as "unable to deliver." Never have I ever had an issue like this with the mail and it's honestly really frustrating. And if you really need the package, the staff told me I can show up within the last 20 mins of the office being open but there is no guarantee you'll get your package bc sometimes the delivery drivers don't get back until they close. So they literally just let your package sit in the truck all day and just simply don't deliver it. Like, what if the thing you ordered is time sensitive? And don't even get me started on how beat up my packages always are. I'm honestly wanting to move out of the area just to be able to get assigned to a different post office that actually does their job. Even the rural area I used to live in NEVER missed a delivery and the one expectation was when our roads were extremely icy and dangerous. It's literally their job to deliver our mail but they don't even do that. super super frustrating
