We travel a lot and have used po boxes all over the country, yet if you rent a po box here, they don't seem to fulfill the need one would typically use a po box for. They send your mail back to the sender if you don't pick it up within 15 days. They don't call or make any effort to inform you of this. Furthermore, if you ship something there using a carrier they don't "support" they will charge you shipping again. Example, I spent about $140 to send a laptop from Florida to here. Because it was sent via a carrier(I think it was ups) they don't "support" they charged me another $120 or so to pick it up. I have no idea what purpose this post office serves besides selling stamps at this point. I've had phenomenal experiences with the USPS and will not let this experience sour my respect for the organization. Just stay clear of this facade of a post office.
