  I strongly recommend avoiding this UPS Store location if you have any alternative. My experience with this store and UPS in general has been absolutely unacceptable. The level of customer service at this location is extremely poor. The employees I dealt with seemed unable or unwilling to provide clear information, solve problems, or take any responsibility when something went wrong. I left my contact information and specifically asked to speak with the manager, but no one followed up with me. Even the phone number listed online for this location did not appear to connect me with the actual store. I paid UPS to deliver a package to California. The package actually reached California and was very close to its destination, but instead of being delivered, it was inexplicably sent across the country to West Virginia and then Pennsylvania. After I requested that it be redirected back to South Carolina, it was sent to California AGAIN. What should have been a simple shipment turned into weeks of unnecessary travel back and forth across the country. Throughout this entire situation, I spent an enormous amount of time calling customer service and visiting the store trying to find someone who could actually help. Nobody could give me a reasonable explanation of what happened, nobody took responsibility for the repeated errors, and nobody offered any meaningful compensation for a service I paid for and did not receive as promised. The most disturbing part is the complete lack of accountability. When you pay a shipping company and trust them with your belongings, delivery should not feel like a lottery — “maybe it arrives, maybe it doesn’t.” After this experience, I personally will avoid UPS whenever I have another option, and I certainly would not trust this particular location with anything valuable or time-sensitive. If you have an alternative carrier or another shipping location available, I strongly suggest using it.

  It's friendly and clean. It needs more self service kiosks and they need to be further back so when the waiting line gets long = it's not out the door, blocking the entrance or crossing into the regular service line. OR there needs to be an item limit for the self service line...

  I recently moved to the Summerville are and have had the absolute pleasure of using the services at the Ol Trolley Road store a few time now where on separate occasions. The first time was super busy but Phish ( I apologize if this isn't the correct spelling) remained calm and patient helping everywhere he could. The second time I was the only one in there and Sunny helped me with a big smile on his face. Both of them went above and beyond. I am very grateful to both of them and to whomever hired them.

  Avoid this branch at all costs. No joke. The last 3 times I have made the drive out there to return some Amazon packages their “system” has been down and could not do returns. And the staff is rude about it and shows no empathy. I don’t think they are technically competent to fix it anyway. Basically each time they act like snotty teenagers. I could even hear them in the back laughing. I have given multiple chances and sorry to say this is the last chance for this UPS retailer.
