- BHBill HansenApr 26, 20261.0Really very inconsiderate. I needed a notary. Came in with all my paperwork with my name, my SC driver's license with my signature. The male refused to do the notary because I signed the form before coming into the store. I'm 72 and never had an issue before with any notary for signing up front and not in front of them. What's the purpose of your driver's license as proof of who you are. Photo id and all information showing who I was on all paperwork and same signature on I'd as paper needing signature. I had to leave and run home for another form. 15 minutes away round trip. When I left there the first time, I was so upset, I left my phone on the counter. When I returned, I asked for my phone. Both employees said I didn't leave it. After the notary paperwork was done and payment made, he said what does my phone look like. I said a black covered pixel. He opened the drawer under his counter and I saw my phone. I said '"you said I didn't leave it." What a jerk. 15 minutes and he couldn't remember I left my phone. Liar. Just wanted to screw with me. I did nothing to make him do this to me. Total inconvenience. Who else would have signed my signature on the form? The Easter Bunny!!!! What a joke and he calls himself a notary. P.S. manager or owner. Don't bother giving me you canned response. All he had to do was have me resign the form in front of him and notarize.
