  This is now little more than an Amazon return center. They have integrated Amazon returns into their checkout counter and, as a result, if you are there to buy something and someone else is there to return an Amazon package, you will have to wait until all of the Amazon work is done. Who in the world thought it was a good idea for Staples to make the work of their primary competitor even easier than it already is? Save yourself the hassle, order it online.

  Waited in line 15 min. Left to go somewhere else to mail my package. Went back 15 min later just to get envelopes for later mailings. , Still a 20 min line, one cashier doing Amazon returns instead of ringing up customers!! She was all confused!! You guys need to get some help or something!!! Terrible customer service!!!

  Jaron Shank made my experience at Staples in Greer, SC a joy. He was professional, friendly, and helpful. Jaron listened thoughtfully to my concerns and offered great suggestions, gave me chances to check the samples, followed through at the timeline he promised, and gave me a product that is greater than I hoped. I am a very satisfied customer and look forward to working with Staples again.

  I tried to print off something here and the printer wasn’t working. They told me I’d have to email it to the staples email and then I’d have to do it that way. The computer uses a timer to charge you and because of this mistake on staples’ end I was charged $20 dollars for printing a document. I waited 45 mins for a refund. And they still charged me $4 printing off paper. It should have been a full refund for poor customer service. It shouldn’t take 45 mins to do something very simple. The only reason staples is still running is because they do Amazon returns there. There’s no way they’re making enough money from people using a computer or the merchandise. The candy on the shelves is expired. It’s worth it just to buy your own printer before spending 20 dollars for a headache in staples.

  I’ve been a loyal customer of Staples for quite a while because the print department has always been willing to help me with simple same-day printing requests. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely unacceptable and showed a shocking lack of professionalism and basic customer service. I came in this morning needing ONE simple image printed, something I’ve had done there many times before, and the employee behind the counter immediately dismissed me, saying they had “too many orders to fill”. There was no effort to assist, and frankly no concern whatsoever for a repeat customer standing right in front of them. The attitude was rude, lazy, and completely indifferent. What makes this even worse is that I called the UPS store around the corner immediately afterward, and they handled the exact same request without hesitation. Their staff was friendly, efficient, and actually acted like they valued customers. In a matter of minutes, they accomplished what Staples apparently couldn’t be bothered to do. Customer service clearly no longer matters at this Staples location. If employees are too overwhelmed or unwilling to handle basic print requests, then management needs to seriously reevaluate how that department is being run. After today’s experience, Staples has lost my business entirely, and I’ll gladly take my money to companies that still understand how to treat customers with respect.
