  I bought a box that I needed to use for a post office drop off. He offered to package the box, which was just putting the item in there and taping the bottom and top. I didn’t even have him print a label. I had even told him prior that I had packing tape in the car but he said “happy to do it/ I got it”. Little did I realize it wasn’t a “happy to do it,” it was a $7 charge. $5 just for the packing materials, which was 4 pieces of tape. I get the receipt while he’s taping and find out about the $7 to do that job. Almost the price of the box itself. At no time did he mention it would be an extra cost, let alone for 4 pieces of tape and to close a box. I normally like this location but that was really shady customer service and I’m super frustrated with how it was handled. I told him if he had provided the cost information, I would have denied the service since I had tape in the car (which he knew since I had mentioned) and requested a refund. However he said he could not do it because he had “already used the tape” and the refund would come out of his paycheck.

  Thank you to the owner of this UPS store for telling me to hang onto my receipt after returning a Wi-Fi box to Verizon. I was sent two by mistake and a month later, even though UPS delivered it in a timely fashion, I had still not been reimbursed for the $300. I was being charged for a box I didn’t need. I finally got that issue resolved today because of the UPS receipt and the UPS tracking showing that they received it. Thank you so much!

  I have used the Augusta Street UPS Store for several years, mostly for returns, and I recognize the owner. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was quite uncomfortable. When I brought in several return packages, I was told to pull up my QR codes, then sat waiting without any direction. I eventually had to say that I was ready and wasn’t sure what else was needed. The interaction felt dismissive and annoyed throughout. At one point, an item slipped a few inches onto the scale, and I was sharply told not to drop things. A return drop-off should be a straightforward, courteous experience. I left feeling unwelcome, and I will be using a different location going forward. I hope customer interactions improve, because longtime customers deserve to be treated with patience and respect.

  I have had several wonderful experiences at this UPS location. The staff is so helpful and efficient. Mr NK in particular, has gone above and beyond to help with a lost package. He showed so much care in making sure the packages arrived safely. Thank you UPS August Street Great Job!

  Genuinely the worst UPS Store in town. The only redeeming factor is the convenient location, but maybe they bank on that because the service never gets better. The owner or manager is consistently rude and clearly annoyed when Amazon returns are brought in. Don’t offer the service if you’re going to have an issue with customers using it? I asked for a receipt for my Amazon returns and he argued with me, saying they would be in the Amazon app. The next time I went, the young lady working handed me a receipt without me even asking. Conflicting, confusing, and unpleasant experience almost every time.
