Its unfortunate that the city of Fountain Inn is so wonderful for the Fountain Inn USPS to be absolutely terrible. I plan to not only go to the city about Elaine/Elen as the supervisor and the additional clerk but also to the system as a whole and report it to the Columbia office for investigation. The residents of Fountain Inn do not deserve the less than half effort the employees provide.
Elaine/Elem is lazy, unprofessional, inconsiderate and is detached from her responsibilities ad a supervisor.
We moved here in April and have resided here with no access to our mail, no communication from the post office, but more excuses than this family can accept.
Elaine/Elen and her team finally rekeyed a mailbox after sending us through the ringer for a month. She's provided false information and is not someone who will truly follow up with you.
Additionally, after calling several times this week I recieved 1 after hours call when she has my also has my email.
Screenshot provided.
I will be providing both of my complaints to the Columbia office. Along with my experience with Elaine over the phone today.
I drove to the USPS office today and was told that there was no supervisor in today and that I would have to wait even more time to find out my mailbox number is simply because the mail courier or the supervisor are the only two people who has this information. Our postal system has to be better, we live in 2026 where everything is digital.
Continually, I had a package of mine delivered to the mail box as a parcel package with no way to retrieve it because I dont have access to the mailbox.
So how does this all work out?
I recieve a random call from Elaine, 5 minutes after leaving the site just for her to starting explaining and everything that she 'did'.
I stopped her in her tracks because I've had enough. She called once and even that was an after hours call, so there is no ability to call back and speak was to someone directly. She was upset that I am not going to accept her flat out lying to me. She said your mailbox is number _ and hung up the phone.
This is what residents can expect from this office.
Also the office phone was off today with an automated message saying the office is closed but in fact it wasn't.
Its clear that we need a change.

They didn’t mail my package because of animal interference. Mind you, all I have in my neighborhood are dogs! And they are mostly behind fences. Sometime a dog or two will roam around but they don’t do anything! This is unprofessional and stupid
