- COCasie OkelleyJul 6, 20261.0They refuse to walk packages to door. I have no animals so no excuse (was told by postmaster they don’t get out of the vehicle if they see animal) Instead, they want to sit in your driveway and blow the horn and if you don’t come out, you did not get your package. Postmaster seems to think this is fine because they’re busy. They drive entirely too fast… But same thing I was told they’re busy. Don’t bother complaining because they don’t care. And we wonder what’s wrong with the Mail system… I will be taking this complaint further.
- ALAnsley LambJun 13, 20261.0Horrible experience. The older lady who smells like cigarettes and sways back and forth is absolutely rude. When I was trying to explain what was going on I could never finish my sentence without her interrupting me. I told her the tax assessor told me to come there to get a letter and all she kept telling me the letter is not here. Instead of telling me where to go she told me “it sounds like a tax issue and you either pay your taxes or you don’t ,so sorry.” She said it with a very condescending tone. The man sitting next to her just smirked and offered no help either after he saw the way she was talking to me. I was there trying to get a letter that was not delivered in order to figure out if it was a vehicle tax or property tax and take care of it while I was in Edgefield. I know this lady probably has been there several years and has seen her share of people. However she needs to go back to training and learn how to respectfully treat the public. That or get out of working the general public. I’m glad she finds the means to work but I didn’t choose her job and maybe she should find a new one where she doesn’t have to deal with the public because of how rude she is.
