  If I could put ZERO stars I would. We bought $45 worth of balloons for my sons first birthday party. Obviously we wanted it to be a special day. I worked with the employee at the counter, told her they were for my son’s party and I was clear that the party was the next day. (Nothing was said to me) I picked up the balloons that day at about 2:30-3:00pm. We set everything up that night, tied all the balloons to his high chair and then went to bed. When we woke up, all of the balloons were on the ground (7:30am). When I called the Columbia Harbison Staples store to discuss this, I was told by the employee that the balloons only last 4-6 hours and that I could come in for more balloons and pay again. I asked for an exchange or refund and was denied both and told “there’s nothing else I can do for you.” I explained that I was very clear about when I needed these balloons and asked should I have been told how long they last? I just got a “probably yeah”. I will never go back to this location after this experience. Additionally, I am an operational executive with a large company. We currently use Staples for our company account (Thousands of employees and millions of dollars worth of orders annually.) I will be pushing our procurement team to move all of our business to Office Depot moving forward. It’s a shame that they would allow a $45 negative experience and an unhelpful employee to not only ruin my son’s 1st birthday, but also lose them millions in future business. It’s an interesting world we live in. P.S, I explained this to the employee when I called at 9am this morning…He could have cared less.

  The young lady behind the counter is pocketing money after transactions are completed. I gave the young lady $40 for a $25 transaction she only put 20.00 in the drawer. The young lady gave me 15.00 change then took the other 20.00 and walked away from the counter. Therefore the young lady process the transaction for 5.00 but charged me 25.00. GET A RECEIPT if your paying cash. I knew something wasn't right because her body language was off. Never underestimate anyone someone always watching.

  Akima is a awesome person and gave me the upmost support with assisting me with my business needs in the print department, I am thrilled to have met such a wonderful person, I drive a hour just to do business with this particular Store thank you so much!
