If you want to witness a government entity lie on a daily basis, just check your tracking. They will say things are undeliverable or being held at the PO at recipients request when its all a lie. They will admit at the counter.

I have never been more disappointed with the post office as I am now. We pay for a PO Box because we were told that the mail delivery to our subdivision is unreliable, we thought having a PO Box for important mail would be a better solution. We were wrong. I had a package delivered (to our PO Box) Saturday at 1PM. I waited til 3PM Monday to pick it up to not find the package in our box or a key for the bigger boxes. I rang the bell (once) and waited patiently for over 10min before an older guy even acknowledged me. He walked out the door with a squeaky mail cart saying “just like this cart is hollering I am too”, I didn’t say anything and continued to wait... he went back in the room and closed the door I waited another 5min before he asked me why I was there. I told him I was picking up a package that was delivered Saturday. I waited another 20min for him to come back to me and say “at this time we can’t find your package”, no apology, no “let me take your number down and we’ll continue to look”, nothing. Of course after waiting for as long as I did and having no clear resolution, I left frustrated. I called back this morning (now Tuesday 12/22) to speak to the same guy that “helped” me the day before. For him to say “me and two other people have been looking for your package for two days” 🤔 I asked him if it was best for me to go in person. After waiting on the line, the phone barely worked and his voice kept cutting in and out, he came back on the line to say “we can’t find your package at this time and you coming in person won’t make a difference”, again, no resolution, no “let me take down your information”, nothing. When I asked him what am I to do? He said “you can file a claim”. Needless to say that I will have 2 disappointed little girls this Christmas. Someone in a previous comment mentioned that the employees are disgruntled, even though there’s a couple of employees that are very kind and know what they’re doing, I couldn’t agree more with that statement. It’s very sad when you have to deal with people that clearly don’t like their jobs or haven’t been properly trained in customer service.
