- LRLacy RodriguezAug 29, 20261.0I’m tired of getting notes in my mailbox from my carrier because I’m disabled and sometimes I hurt too bad to walk all the way to the mailbox in the heat or the rain or the cold and get the mail. I told that person that and they continue to leave me notes or, even better, to leave my mail on my doorstep in the rain themselves. That has occurred MULTIPLE times. I went in and said something about it and I got given the run around and treated like I was making everything up. Sorry that I have a back injury and problems walking lady, god forbid it’s hard to walk half a mile to the mailbox some days. Not to mention the less than helpful lady at the front that said “most people have their QR code pulled up when they come in here” when I was trying to get my phone to load, then immediately after that said they have very slow service in that building. I refrained from calling her a moron, but I was sure thinking it. Update: ever since I complained about the notes, I didn’t get my mail for over a week and when I finally got it, it was all ripped open and the envelopes and packages were empty. This is OUTRAGEOUS. the post lady even screamed at my mother and told her that there was “a lot of trouble coming from down there” referring to me, when i literally only asked the postmaster if they’d ask her to stop sending me notes because it made me feel bad. This is absolutely crazy. I’ve reported it.
