  Taylor in printing was amazing! She was so kind and helpful when I went to print my business cards. She was truly phenomenal and I am a very happy customer thanks to her!

  I ve been a long time customer and big fan of the staff at Westerly Staples for decades. But Marina deserves a special shout out. Her demeanor is always calm, attentive and efficient no matter how long their lines get. No request is too small or too difficult snd she makes sure you are completely satisfied. Serving the public , especially in busy seasons is never easy , but Marina ‘ s steady willing nature leaves me calmer and feeling kinder toward the world, because people like she … make ours better.   Rushed, harassed and disrespected…. We’ll never be back! My husband and I entered Staples in Westerly, RI on Friday evening (8/21) at 6:52 PM. We were aware that the store closed at 7 o’clock and only needed one specific item, a day planner. While browsing the aisle for the item, a worker paced by 2 times reminding us that the store was going to close, with no offer of help. This was a distraction and also made us feel anxious as we tried to scan more quickly and nervously for our intended purchase. When we approached the register, the same individual was waiting there for our apparent arrival in line. I asked if it was typical to be rushed out of the store like that. The worker was instantly very combative in his facial expression, tone, and word choice and very quickly came back at me with a rude retort about the fact that they closed at 7. He then followed it up with,“We’ll keep the store open until midnight just for you!” I looked at him in shock and he repeated, “Why don’t we all just leave the store open until midnight so that you can shop all night! At that point I looked at my phone and realized it was 7:02, and we were waiting in line behind a woman who was still checking out with a female worker at the counter? I could not understand why this male store worker was being so abrasive with my husband and I when we actually were in line at 7:00 to buy our item and leave. After we left, I checked my receipt and the time reads 7:04. We were baffled and not entirely sure if we actually bought what we needed. Wouldn’t it just have been easier for that worker to offer help the first or second time he reminded us that they were closing at 7 o’clock, rather than pacing, hovering, and making us feel so anxious? I have never been treated like that in a store before, and we had no intention of upsetting the workers when we entered very aware of our limited amount of time. When I called the next day to make the management aware of the situation, I was told that they were already aware and was met with the same type of aloof and dismissive responses. This made me wonder if I may have been speaking with the same man from the night before…. Was he the manager? No matter what, it became clear that this is the accepted culture of that store, and it is highly disappointing that staff are allowed to treat customers in that manner. I am a school teacher, and I have three children. I have purchased many, many school supplies from Staples in the past. I have also worked in customer service and can understand the challenge of working with the public, but being treated this way was beyond unacceptable. I will never re-enter that store and never give Staples another dollar of my money in the future….although I’m not sure anyone in management will ever even read this or care!

  Quick in and out when I fax or have to return to Amazon. It's nice that they actually have staplers, pens, paper clips etc. available in that area. Many stables don't bother to stock by the fax area for convenience.
