- CMCecily McLaughlinJun 5, 20265.0I've been using this post office for years & have never had an issue. There's only long lines around nov-dec for obvious reasons. Staff is always helpful, location is much more convenient than the downtown location (parking always a nightmare), & the Corliss location is fine but it's ALWAYS so busy. Parking on Smith has never been an issue, or if you take public transportation, the bus (57 or 56 line) runs approx every 20 min & drops very close by. It is sometimes hard to spot since it's in the same building as a Mexican food restaurant & sits next to the Rhode Island credit union.
- DWDavid WeissMay 9, 20263.0Going to the post office is always a challenge You may find it empty or you may find yourself in a line depending on when you go, If you're mailing a package they are usually cheaper than any other service that is if you're pricing offline. They usually have a good selection of boxes the express are free but regular boxes and tape are not free and a little overpriced. The service is generally good it's straightforward and you can use your debit or ATM card. I don't mind going to the post office because it's so hard to find a drop-off box and they need the slit so skinny that if it's any thicker than a letter you're not going to mail it. I just want to let you know if you have letters or packages that need to go out You can always give them to your mail carrier they not only deliver packages they also pick them up. I would rate this post office as normal not overly busy and pretty helpful
