The older man that was working at the Amazon drop off station mid morning on Tuesday 9/29/26 was VERY rude. My return instructions clearly state "no pack-no print" AS WELL AS "show this QR code to an associate AND THEY'LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST." This man threw a bag on the counter & demanded I put my items in it. I stood there for a second because I know it's the associate that PACKS the items. Then he raised his voice & again demanded I "put the items in the packaging!" I believe his name was Matt. I'm requesting for Staples management to remind Mr. Matt that HE'S to pack the items (per the drop off instructions) & also remind him that he works in customer services. Thanks!

I waited in line to return an Amazon package, only to be told it could not be accepted because it was too big, and was provided no further explanation other than a phone number to Amazon customer support. I had to call the manager to get clarification about Staples’ package restrictions and was told there is an 18x18 package size limit; packages larger than this are not accepted. Not only is this restriction not posted anywhere on Staples’ website, this size limit is not posted anywhere in line or in the store. Afterward, I measured the package and it was within the size limit; I also had observed larger packages being accepted in the store while standing in line. If Staples is not going to accept larger packages, this restriction should be clearly posted so customers know before waiting in line. After calling Amazon they confirmed my package should have been accepted regardless of the size. I had to return my package elsewhere due to this. This store clearly needs clearer signage and better staff training so that customers receive accurate, consistent, and PROFESSIONAL service.

The older man that works here with glasses is the reason I put a one star. I come in with Amazon returns, And he gave me a smirk face like he’s annoyed he has to do them. Maybe he shouldn’t work here because that is part of working at staples dude…. Now I just moved here With the Military, I’m a frequent Amazon reviewer and returner and never have I been to an Amazon return facility where they have been this rude (And took so long). Usually, they are super fast at scanning and not rude at all.
